I had a patient whose boyfriend broke up with her over the holidays. She said he didn't want to deal with all her health problems.

Outwardly I was sympathetic, but inwardly I thought, "How can she not know he left her because her personality sucks?"

This entire scene is so foreign to me that it felt like reading an occult professor’s leather-bound travel diary from his crypto-zoological exploration of an as-yet discovered island where the natives communicate through telepathy. In other words, I really enjoyed reading this.

Great story. Long live Industrial music! And "With her traditionally feminine features, it’s too bad her mind is so deformed." is one of the best sentences I've read in a while haha

Most of this is beyond my experiential horizons. But I enjoyed reading it!

And I do know how to walk a catwalk :-)

Love the flow.

Never been a scene person.

More of a cave troll.

Thank you for that trip inside.

Loved this! Iona never read those Crowley books, pretty much guaranteed. Earbuds at 4am can’t go to sleep after the club, punching the sky? Yeah, been there.

Used to be in the goth/bdsm club scene in L.A. Echoes of the same drama. Enjoyed the read immensely.

I can’t tell if this is fiction or nonfiction and the mystery is better than the answer would be.
